Bracing Ourselves For a HUGE Snowstorm........
by Tracey Ann Finley on 2/5/2010 6:14:20 PM

Boy, oh boy are we supposed to get it....the kids are not too excited about a Friday into Saturday snowstorm. No possibility of a day off from school.

We are expected to be getting anywhere from 8 to 14 inches of snow with winds around 40mph. Now doesn't that sound fun? I know that I will be shoveling, drinking my hot cocoa and hopefully getting some painting done. I love to paint when the calm sounds of little flakes are falling outside.....but with winds of 40-50mph.....I don't know how tranquil that will be!

Please post here with where you live and what the weather for the weekend is supposed to be by you. I love to here about where you guys live.......

I will post before and after photos here tomorrow.......

Stay cozy and warm.....
Love,
T

Hi Tracey,
Are you in central Iowa? That's our forecast for Monday-Tuesday as well. It just keeps getting deeper and deeper! Maybe if we all think spring----

Hi Cooper:
I am here in Central/Southern Jersey. I just checked the forecast and we are in for another round come Tuesday into Wednesday....10-12 inches more....probably NO SCHOOL so my kiddos will be on cloud 9!!!
Stay safe and definitely think SPRING!

Well, we are in for round two of the snowstorm this afternoon. They are calling for 50mph winds and blizzard conditions for the Jersey Shore area. Right now it doesn't look like much, but the kids are thrilled about a SNOW DAY! YIPPEEE!!...only time will tell what will be dumped on us by tomorrow morning. Maybe two SNOW DAYS????
