Good Morning all:
Just wanted to say that I will be working on some new works and adding them as they are completed onto the site. I just added a new painting today called: "THE NEGOTIATOR". I have decided to try some pieces painted and/or collaged on heavyweight paper. I will be offering them already matted for you(YIPPPPEEEE), so all you need to do is POP them into a frame of your choice!! They look really great and will always be matted with black so matching your decor will be easy peasy! Would love to hear some comments, so BLOG away peoples!!

Seemed like October 17th was an eternity away about 6 months ago. It sure did creep up on me quickly. The show opening is tonight and I still have some running around to do. I've had such help from my hubby, the kids, and friends that it is truly touching. Without any of their help, this showing would have been almost impossible! I will try and post some photos of tonights events on the website ASAP......wish me luck guys!!

Can't believe that I really only have this weekend coming up to get all the finishing touches done for my show. I have been focusing on a few larger pieces and actually painted some furniture with my funky artwork! I tackled two end tables and a coffee table....will try to post some photos for you. I had created on furniture pieces a few years back and really missed the transformation process. I think its so great to take a well-loved table or chair and make it something that is one of a kind and unique. Sometimes it even surprises me how they turn out...........its a crisp and beautiful day here in Jersey, hope you are enjoying the same,

Well, hello everybody.. I am definitely new to the whole BLOG thingie......just had a few requests asking if I was ever going to do this....so here I am!
Things have been crazy in The Finley household, with Back to School, homework assignments, new sneaker shopping, bookbag shopping etc., not to mention getting ready for the show!! I have been painting like a nut, but loving every minute of it. My creativity is really flowing like crazy and with the crispness of Fall in the air its been totally great. I do miss my Wednesday night Beach concerts that are one of my favorite things about summer, but fall is pretty too. The leaves are just starting to change and its time for my Spiced scented Yankee Candles.......woo hoo!!

I don't know how often I will be posting, but will try to get here every few days. Please leave me an entry, I always love to get comments about my artwork......
